A friend from college was hosting three Korean exchange students and wanted to create welcome baskets that included stationery that would remind the girls of home (and also offer them a fun means to write home). Since the girls all were tweens I wanted the look fun and modern, and with a nod to Korea.

I love how powerful and effective color is in translating ideas. I used the Korean colors to create stripe and dot patterns. The girls were thrilled!
