April 2010

You are currently browsing the monthly archive for April 2010.

Once again, a couple of designs I absolutely adore emerged when people asked me to design them.  I just added this horse and stegosaurus to my online collection; you can enjoy them printed on stationery, invitations and announcements, thank you cards, and calling cards.

I love how sweet and chocolate-y this horse is. The request came per a client’s desire to gift horse stationery to a friend who, in fact, has her very own horse.

The stegosaurus came about per a client request for note cards and invitations for her dinosaur-obsessed son’s birthday. (If you are seeing horizontal lines across the body of the stegosaurus please ignore them; it’s a screen — not print — thing!)

A powerful and elegant hawk and moon motif for a powerful and elegant woman. Read the story behind the project.

Here is the cuteness that transpires when called to design baby announcements and thank you cards for a new baby sibling, born to parents of a modern aesthetic (her) and a passion for cycling (him).  Read the story behind the project.

Isn’t this Korean-inspired stationery cute (but not cutesy)? Read the story behind the project.

Made The Move

I’ve been meaning to move the Posh Peacock blog from Blogger to Wordpress for some time now and today I’ve finally done it. I have a bunch of updates to make here and on the main site and hope to blog here more regularly now that I’ve finally made the switch.

Please note the change of address from http://blog.poshpeacock.com/ to http://www.poshpeacock.com/blog/ — happy reading!

Also, I apologize in advance for any broken internal links on the blog. With the change in name I’ll need to do some housekeeping.
