Hello! My name is Christine Koh and welcome to Posh Peacock! I'm a Boston lifer and former academic; I earned my Ph.D. in music and brain science and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in auditory neurology before hanging up my research spurs to pursue more creative pastures.

I'm a self-taught designer; I discovered my passion for design several years ago when I started doing projects informally for friends. I launched my custom portfolio on Posh Peacock in October 2006 and expanded the site to include an online shop in January 2007. Over the years I've found that one of my intuitive strengths is the ability to identify what clients want (even when the directives are very vague!), and that my editorial skills and aesthetic instincts lend well to my design work, whether I'm designing wedding invitations or baby announcements, building websites, or working with clients on a comprehensive design/marketing strategy plan.

When I'm not working on design and production for Posh Peacock, I'm publishing Boston Mamas, freelance writing and editing, writing at my personal blog Pop Discourse, filming my lifestyle show, pursuing items on my life list, experimenting in the kitchen, cleaning up fingerpaints, and generally enjoying my very excellent and blessed life with my husband and daughter (to be two daughters, come March 2011).
